T(cap)he government has sought a list of
government primary schools having Shaheed Minar. All Deputy Director of the
department of primary education have been directed to send the number of such
schools in which Upazila by July 28.
The office order of the Department of
Primary Education was released on the website on Sunday yesterday. The order
said the Upazila based update list of primary schools having Shaheed Minar
should be sent by e-mail to the Director (School) of the Department.
On May 9, designs were sent to all
government primary schools across the country to build unique martyrs' Minarets
on the lines of the Central Shaheed Minar. It was then directed to perform
Shaheed Minars at convenient places in the school premises with two options
in the prescribed size and design. The design has been sent with two options to
build Shaheed Minars as per the availability of space.
